  2. No alcohol or drugs will be permitted on the grounds during a show. Anyone appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave the show grounds, and the Sheriff’s Department may be contacted.
  3. No unrestrained dogs on the grounds during the show.
  4. All members and riders must abide by CGA rules and dress codes.
  5. No unsound horses will be shown.
  6. All horses must be under control at all times.
  7. No one under the age of 18 will be allowed to show without written permission by the contestants parent or legal guardian.
  8. Any member having a complaint with rules, shows, and show management or another member must consult with the president or vice president who will give the member advice on problems to keep disturbances from happening at any function put on by the Big Bear Mountain Rebels.
  9. All members are expected to act in such a manner as to represent CGA at all times. (No swearing, poor sportsmanship, etc.)
  10.  All members are to abide by any given arena rules, that the Big Bear Mountain Rebels may be using, at all times.
  11.  All riders under the age of 18 must ride with an approved safety helmet. BBMR strongly encourages all riders to ride with an approved safety helmet.
  12.  Day and year end points may only be taken in the division a rider is signed up for (for example, if a AA rider places in the AAA division, that rider will receive the award for that event in the AAA division, but no points for that event).
  13.  If a rider chooses to move up a division, they may do that at any time prior to the 1st event of said years sixth show. Riders moving up a division may carry their points up to one point less than the top two riders in the higher division. No rider/horse combination shall change to a lower division after moving up to a higher division.
  14.  In the event that a rider needs to change their point horse and the horse has an illness, injury, pregnancy, or dies and this is certified in writing by a licensed veterinarian, the rider will have the following options:

                a. The rider may ride another horse and carry their points to any division (they may move up or down

to one point less than the top two riders in the new division).

                b. If this occurs after the first event of said year’s 6th show, the rider must ride in the same division they

                have ridden all year.

                c. The rider may use only one back up horse and carry their points to any division. The rider may also

switch back to their original horse only once.

               d. The rider may ride another horse without a vet not and not combine their points from the previous

               horse.

         15. No riding double anywhere on the grounds.

         16. Cruelty to horses anywhere on the grounds will result in disqualification for the day and the rider will be

         asked to leave the show.

          17. Tie horses securely to your trailer. If a horse gets loose, DO NOT chase it as greater damage/injury could

occur. Riders chasing a loose horse are subject to dismissal from the show grounds. DO NOT tie horses to

unhitched trailers or the arena fence.

          18. If a rider writes a check to BBMR which comes back "non-sufficient funds" the rider will be reported to

CGA and placed on their suspended list. After reinstatement by CGA, the rider will need to pay cash for the

         remainder of the show season.

          19. Any horse who has kicked must wear a red ribbon on it’s tail. Owners of a horse who has kicked must tie

the horse away from other horses.

          20. Show management has the right to refuse to allow anyone to ride at our shows.
